at St. Peter's Church
One of the joys of being a shared church means that we can draw on the resources of the three denominations and aim to offer a rich diversity of music within St. Peter’s.
Our
aim is to help all at St. Peter’s to express our love and thankfulness
in praise to our great God, and to draw other people, through our
worship, to come to know the love of the Father, the saving work of
Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit in and through their lives.
A Music
Group leads worship
on 2nd, 4th and 5th
Sundays. Members play classical guitar, accoustic guitar, drums,
trumpet, clarinet, keyboard, organ, and we have a group of singers to
lead the singing. We aim to use contemporary music, as well as popular
songs and hymns of the last thirty years.Rosemary Richards is our Music Co-Ordinator and is establishing a new choir which will lead our more traditional worship both on Sundays and, where appropiate major festivals or civic events. The choir will also sing for weddings.
